Happy riders, happy coaches

Coach Neil has been at it again with Nathan Corridon, this time in mountain bike racing! Well done to coached rider Nathan Corridon who finished in a fine 3rd place in his age-group and 12th overall at the Maratón MTB North Lanzarote 60 km race. Nathan has been working hard on his descending skills which certainly helped in this challenging hilly race. Great work Nathan, and great work from coach Neil

Callum Clarke dominated the recent inaugural Haute Route Stelvio event. Callum won both road stages and completed the hat-trick by winning the mountain time-trial. This spectacular event was based in the town of Bormio at the foot of the major passes. The first stage finished at the summit of the Passo Gavia 2652m after climbing the Umbrail pass earlier in the stage. The second stage was the queen stage and included the climb of the infamous Mortirolo before finishing at the summit of the Passo Stelvio 2758m. The final stage was the time-trial from Bormio to the summit of the Passo Stelvio. Callum blasted up the climb in a super fast time of 1 hr 3 mins 59 secs! Great work Callum and a nice first prize too! And great work, Coach Neil
